In her workshops at The Foggy Pearl on the coast of Maine, Mariah guides participants through painting a coastal landscape in acrylic, encouraging an intuitive and observational approach to both place and material. Each person leaves with a finished piece of their own, along with a deeper understanding of process, environment, and personal expression.

Painting on-site
Guests are encouraged to explore the property—coastal forest, waterfront, and open views—allowing the environment to shape their work. Painting takes place in the bar with its open roll-up door framing the water, or on the pavilion overlooking Mount Desert Island, where light, movement, and wildlife become part of the process.
